In summer 2024 we introduced the shed project for young people aged between 11-19. This involved building the shed from scratch, and using it for the kids to do woodwork projects. This is a safe place for the young people to learn new skills outside of the classroom. The type of skills range from project design, to manufacturing and marketing. The young people also have the opportunity to sell their projects to the local community. The money raised from selling the projects go towards new materials and new projects for the shed. They use a variety of materials from reclaimed to new. The shed is open various hours throughout the week and we encourage the local community to give us new ideas on what to build.
